On August 17, the Guizhou Jinsha Zhengda Annual 180,000-Ton Feed Mill Project (hereinafter referred to as the
Jinsha Feed Mill Project), which was undertaken by CP M&E GROUP as the EPC general contractor, was officially completed and put into operation. The project was led by Shanghai Zhengmu Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. in terms of project registration, with Shanghai Zhengcheng Mechanical & Electrical Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Zhengxin KeRong Robot Technology Co., Ltd. participating in the construction. Through a mature project management system and standardized operational procedures, the project achieved an actual effective construction period of 9 months, setting a new record for similar projects in Southwest China and establishing itself as a benchmark for agricultural infrastructure and a model for smart factories in the region.

 

01 Scientific Planning, Setting a Benchmark for Infrastructure

The Jinsha Feed Mill is a supporting project for Guizhou Zhengda's integrated pig farming industry chain. With a total construction area of approximately 11,225.02 square meters, it includes unloading sheds, cement silos, production auxiliary buildings, weighbridge sheds, sampling sheds, fire control rooms, quality control departments, raw material disinfection sheds, finished product disinfection sheds, production workshops, silos, dormitory buildings, office buildings, and other related supporting and ancillary facilities. This project is the first construction project submitted for approval since Shanghai Zhengmu obtained its Grade II General Contracting Qualification for Construction Projects.

Full-cycle coordination and integrated management for efficiency improvement

Since the start of construction, Shanghai Zhengmu has collaborated with sister companies such as Shanghai Zhengcheng and Shanghai Zhengxin, leveraging the mature EPC turnkey contracting model to achieve integrated management across design, construction, and acceptance phasesearly involvement in process layout to optimize design solutions; pre-coordinating resources from specialized subcontractors such as civil engineering and equipment to ensure seamless integration; establishing a command center + project task forcemanagement structure, implementing daily reports, weekly assessments, and monthly summaries to enhance construction efficiency; and using an IoT platform to monitor critical processes such as steel structure hoisting and silo assembly in real time, ensuring 100% implementation of all key process milestones.

 

Standardized operations and grid-based management

Based on the climate and geological characteristics of northwest Guizhou, Shanghai Zhengmu has divided the factory area into three major sectionsoffice area, raw material area, and finished product areacomprising 13 standardized functional zones; Adopting a fully enclosed factory design to effectively control temperature, humidity, and dust concentration, achieving separation of people and goods, and clean and dirty areas; Standardized operating procedures have been established, covering core metrics such as steel structure hoisting, silo assembly, concrete curing cycles, and equipment installation accuracy, to achieve standardized and replicable construction operations. A warehouse acceptance system has been established, implementing grid-based management of construction areas to ensure the smooth implementation of key milestones.

 

High-efficiency delivery and scientific scheduling to ensure project timelines

The construction site operates on a 24/7 shift system with morning and evening shifts, addressing technical challenges through dynamic scheduling to ensure efficient progress throughout the project lifecycle. The project broke ground in 2024, with civil engineering completed by April of the following year, equipment commissioning by June, trial production by July, and official handover and opening by AugustFrom the fireworks at the groundbreaking ceremony to the applause at the commissioning ceremony, nine months of arduous efforts demonstrated the speed and precision of mechanical and electrical construction. Reviewing the construction logs, every critical milestone in the projects progress is meticulously recorded, with each embedded component coordinate and weld quality serving as silent testament to the CP Standard.

 

02 Equipment Innovation, Setting Industry Standards

In addition to high-standard, high-efficiency civil engineering construction, the Jinsha Feed Mill project also adheres to Shanghai Zhengcheng's Industry 4.0 digital intelligence standards, achieving energy savings, increased production capacity, and simplified operations through innovative processes and digital empowerment.

The factory premises are strictly divided into raw material/finished product zones, office/living areas, and personnel/material access routes. Modern fully automated disinfection facilities are installed to ensure comprehensive epidemic prevention control from entry to exit, safeguarding feed safety and biosecurity.

 

Smart Card Integration for Effortless Efficiency

The project incorporates a top-tier domestic smart card system, enabling seamless operations with a single card. From entry, weighing, loading/unloading, re-weighing, to exit, the entire process is managed with a single card, reducing labor requirements and significantly enhancing the experience for all partners.

 

Micro-dosing and efficient mixing

The project adopts a state-of-the-art fully automated micro-element blending system, which automatically blends, pre-mixes, and cleans ingredients. A single batch of ingredients can meet the needs of multiple batches, and the system is equipped with a liquid mixer for simultaneous dry and wet blending, reducing blending time and increasing production capacity.

 

Digital Empowerment, Building a Smart Hub

The project incorporates the company's self-developed CPS-PLUS Intelligent Control Systemand One-Button Start Technology,achieving full-load pelletizing in just 4 minutes upon startup, reducing manual intervention, and enabling fully automated pull-type production with full process traceability. Combined with Shanghai Zhengxin's IoT Internet of Things Platform,users can control everythingfrom the command center.


03 CP M&E GROUP, Setting the Standard in Engineering

As part of the agricultural and livestock equipment industry cluster under CP M&E GROUP, Shanghai Zhengmu, Shanghai Zhengcheng, and Shanghai Zhengxin collectively embody Zhengda's century-long agricultural and livestock experience and technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering. To date, they have jointly delivered over 600 medium to large-scale projects.
